On July 30th 2020, Simon Clarke MP, the Minister for Regional Growth and Local Government announced £20 million pounds of new funding to help SME's get back on track.
This is fully funded by the Govt with no obligation on businesses to contribute financially.
Small and medium sized businesses in England can access grants between £1,000 - £5,000 for new equipment and technology and specialist advice. Could an upgrade in technology help you and your workforce get back on track? Up to £5000 would certainly be helpful, but what if you could top that up significantly by recycling your existing tech, plus all that old unused tech you've got hanging around in the bottom of cupboards gathering dust. If you could get extra money towards upgrading and free up some space, that would be a win win wouldn't it?
Lets look at recycling your current or old tech.
Worried about all the information stored on your devices? You don't need to be, talk to us, we responsibly recycle your devices, meeting all GDPR requirements and provide you with a certificate of data erasure for each device for your records.
Isn't it a hassle to organise recycling? We'll make it really easy and straightforward. You can send us a list of the tech you want to recycle and we will give you an indicative quote, then we will come and collect the devices free of charge, carry out a full appraisal of condition and functionality and confirm your quote. If it's easier, we can come and collect the devices and we will do an inventory along with appraisal and then submit our quote. If you're happy with the quote, invoice us and we'll pay you and take ownership of the devices and send you certificates of data erasure.
Will my old tech end up in landfill?
At TradologyUK Ltd we are committed to responsible recycling and reducing landfill through our positive reuse program where over 90% of the devices and tech equipment we take in goes on to be reused. Our aim is to be over 95% by the end of 2021. As part of this commitment we are registered with Green Achiever and continue to look at ways we can further reduce the need for landfill.
The EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive) became law in the UK in January 2007 as part of the Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment Regulations 2006. This means that companies have a duty of care when exiting their old electronic devices so for peace of mind when you need to recycle your old tech equipment, why not give us a call and see how we can help and make you some money at the same time. Over 75% of waste electrical goods end up in landfill at present, not only is this very harmful for the environment but for businesses its also like throwing money down a hole too.
